I am always stunned by the depth of grammatical memory my students retain. It's the kind of memory that is borne of understanding, not memorization or gimmicks.
Poppy has a lot to sort out in the 'sound house' she in building in her mind, that is, the phonologies of the languages she will be living in for the rest of her life.
My relationships with and responsibilities to children are not the same as my relationships with and responsibilities to adults.
